ABOUT THE AUTHOR
With over twenty-four years of experience, Charles Kunkle, RN, MSN, CEN, NEA-BC, has held multiple positions in leadership, emergency medicine, prehospital emergency medical services, and cardiothoracic intensive care, having honed his skills over the years as a flight nurse at Boston Medflight. Kunkle was named nurse manager of the year by Nursing Spectrum magazine and was featured in RN Magazine. A contributing editor and author for Lippincott Publishers, he has been involved in many publications and books. In 2009 he launched his leadership coaching and consulting firm, Navigator Leadership. His workshops and presentations focus on nurturing staff engagement through motivation, empowerment, and the art of having fun.
