“Every once in a while you stumble upon a speaker who truly knocks your socks off. Charles Kunkle is one of those guys. As a healthcare insider, he knows the ins and outs of operations but it’s his passion for service and patient engagement that makes him a standout on stage. His message is powerful and his delivery is impeccable. He has the timing of standup comedian and the insight of a compassionate healthcare veteran. The combination has his audiences laughing, crying and re-engaging with a stronger sense of purpose.”

“I bought his book and am half way reading it. All he wrote is very true since it’s based on true to life experiences. All of us can connect because we’ve been in this profession for quite some time and we know the difference from years back to this new generation. Charles book is a good guideline in dealing with my coworkers, scheduling, vacations, teamwork, appreciations and lots more. Thank you so much Charles. I would recommend my colleagues and am even buying one book for my new manager! Thanks again!
“I absolutely loved this book. And am now sharing with some of my nurse co-workers. I even had a physician ask me if he could borrow it. It’s so insightful on how we communicate or rather the lack of communication we experience within healthCare today. We have to be mindful that the patient has a name and they’re not just a diagnosis. Lots of humor and personal stories and anecdotes. I have actually seen Charles Kunkle twice now as the keynote speaker at a Skylight (pt program for education videos) conference and then a Med/Surg conference and he was so awesome both times. I actually plan on seeing him again this May in Orlando. Every time I hear him as a speaker the message is just so inspiring that I wish all of my nursing staff could go and watch and hear him also. I am currently trying to get him to be one of our keynote speakers at a lecture series we hold every year for a hospital system. This book will move you and make you laugh and create a lot of insight as to how you handle particular patients and family members and people in your life in general. It’s a great read and well worth the money and time!! Thanks for writing it!”
“Just finished No Time to Care! Having heard Charles Kunkle speak, this book is most definitely his voice, his sense of humor, and his insider insight. I found it to be honest and eye opening even to someone who has been in healthcare for decades. It is a must read for new AND seasoned nurse leaders, knowing that it lends hope that even though leadership is the hardest job ever, success is possible! Highly recommend!”
“No Time to Care exposes the pressure that physicians and nurses are under in the hospital environment to excel at all aspects of their job. Gives a behind the scenes look at what its like to be a caregiver by sharing anecdotes while a little bit of humor. Any nurse can relate to the stress that is felt on a daily basis, and by incorporating a “leadership game plan” it offers a light at the end of the tunnel. It’s easy to be negative when it comes to stress and pressure in the workplace, but No Time to Care stresses positive messages and mindsets when attacking obstacles when it comes to juggling different aspects of a career as a caregiver.”
