As a board member of the Beryl Institute I was asked to introduce Charles Kunkle prior to his presentation. I had no prior knowledge of him or his work but immediately took notice when he began to speak, as he took the audience on a rollercoaster ride of emotions as his presentation unfolded. His in-depth knowledge of the clinical world coupled with his emotional intelligence was clear as he captivated the audience with real life stories, analogies, and humor that was unforgettable. The room was packed beyond capacity and all the buzz when he was done said, “Charles Kunkle was the best speaker of the entire conference!”

If you remember a person crying her heart out after watching your presentation yesterday it was me. I am sorry that I broke out so badly but this is the first time I ever realized that I have wasted 15 years of my nursing career doing the minimum when I could have done wonders by helping people. I truly believe in helping people and I try to be a little different on my unit to bring some extraordinary care in my department. I started doing hand massages on the patients and their families. Every slide of yours was so powerful and there was never a dull moment in your presentation. I am a nurse manager and I myself believe in bringing the best out in people. Thank you.

I have attended many of Charles’ presentations at other conferences. Whenever I see his name on the roster, I know I will be entertained by the way he presents his information. Everything that he speaks about is so true; he makes you stop and think. Invite him back!
Mr. Kunkle is an excellent lecturer. He also brings information on the current bigger picture of hospital vs. insurance carriers to the forefront. He explains the situation hospitals are currently struggling through. He appeals to one’s sense of humanity.
“WOW. I don’t remember the last time I cried and laughed equally during a single lecture.”
“This presentation was so real to life. It helped me to learn to see the situation through the patient’s eyes and not be judgmental. Great speaker.”
“This man is an amazing presenter and should be at every conference; he’s completely right about not what you say, its how you say it! He has the right way to present and keep the audience engaged as if he is speaking directly to you individually.”
“Am already applying skills learned and patients are much more receptive when an ambulance is greeted at the door. It really was a wonderful presentation.”
